Well..Bowie Is great.
I didn't like him before about 6 months ago. I guess I've changed my taste a bit. I only listen to Punk a couple a years ago.

I might say Bowie WAS rather than IS a rock God.
And I think it's a bit much to say he single-handedly saved music; he certainly contributed a great deal, but if he'd never existed there's plenty of others who helped expand the genre.
I'm not drunk, but I'm at work with a wicked hangover. Does that count?
