On Saturday morning I was sitting in front of the TV with a cup of tea nursing the worst hangover in the world. I decided to try and find something easy to watch on the cartoon channels because my brain wasn't up to much.
Imagine my surprise when I found Transformers on Fox Kids - "Excellent!", I thought. "I haven't seen this for years!".

It wasn't long, however, before I realised that things weren't as they should be.
Somehow the animation didn't look right, everything had gone a bit Manga and the transforming sound effect was different :/

Slowly it dawned on me; this was not the classic cartoon I knew and loved. It was a new series (http://www.wpi.edu/News/TechNews/article.php?id=84) and everything had gone horribly wrong. At this point I started sobbing uncontrollably.

I mean wtf is a Predacon???

I just want to say thanks to whoever is reponsible for this sacrilege. You've ruined my life and I hope you're proud of yourselves.

Bring back Buster Witwicky!

Those first Transformers were the best, Sideswipe, Ratchet, Soundwave, etc... Before they started making them in bright purple and green colours.

First Beast machines - I mean WTF.
Then Beast Wars - worse still.
Then Transformers Armada, now this.

I'm not 100% sure on the actual release of these, so no bitching pls.

This review made my mind up straight away...

The hole transformer experience starts as soon as you look at the box and when you see the inside of the pagging the tranformers experiance overwelms you. You have to see it to beleve it!.
Where's my credit card? I want to be overwhelmed by the Transformers experience!!!

iirc, Optimus Prime died in Transformers: The Movie. I think he was brought back to life tho.

They brought back Optimus because of a very large number of abusive letters and phone conversations (from parents and kids) that followed killing him off.
