OOC Alright then before I start just a few thoughts. I’ve always wanted to have something like the Holy Roman Empire, scatterings of little countries machinating for political power. The larger fiefs are intended for smaller nations who could use a boost in economic power, or manpower, but I believe fairly balanced as not to cause an influx of poor writing but powerful uber countries that have yet to learn the process. Some of the smaller fiefs are perfectly open for larger nations who wish to have a spot in on any future Rping or what have you, especially if an entity like the HRE is formed. For the moment though the following fiefs are for sale, and if this works well I will offer the other half of the country up for sale. For the moment the other half is controlled by the Republican Army who will menace if not hunt you feudal lords down.

The descriptions are left pretty bare, just a few guidelines, but Rp them as you wish, change the city names of course, but please not the entire fief that will make it hell to reference for me personally. Any questions please ask. Please limit yourselves. And I would ask that this be more of a personal union deal, but again that is not a binding request merely my own fantasy.

Emperor Abdicates, it’s Finally Over, Nearly!


Today under pressure from the Imperial Family and the Regency Council His Majesty Emperor Celestine III became Mr. Littorol Austbusch. On June 13th 8:22 PM His Majesty issued the letters of abdication to the Regency Council. The letters not only cover the emperor but also his entire voiding their claim to the Imperial throne of Paloni.

Chancellor Metternich of the Council attempted to dissuade the emperor from his course but ultimately his monarchist ties, and various powers could not assist him in this one last effort, and tonight the emperor is being flown out of the country with his family and two hundred million Dollars in bonds and cash. This is a culminating victory for the Citizens Republican Army who, for the last ten months, has been fighting constantly in the hills around Drein against wavering Imperial Army Groups. This abdication however has seriously turned the tide of battle and two out of three army groups have already surrendered, and a general of the Republican Army has arrived in Danzour to take possession of the Imperial Court.

Before the sun had begun to rise the Regency Council had voted itself feudal and dynastic rights in an attempt to halt the Republican Armies’ march on the capital, which Metternich has called, “An unorganized rabble who will halt at nothing to destroy the stability created in the careful governance of the Imperial family for the last two centuries.” Others within the Council do not share the chancellor’s sentiments and have issued a warrant for his arrest and trial in an attempt to assuage the Republican Army. However there is one last stumbling block before the Empire collapses, the outside world. And though no details have been released the embassy district of Danzour is ablaze with fury.

We may all, however the situation may seem, rest easy in our beds, the war is nearly over and after ten months, I believe I represent everyone at the Merit in saying that whoever wins the conflict, and puts and end to it will have won our hearts. Political affiliation aside I welcome and government that can keep a roof over my head and food on my plate.

You will forgive us for our misgivings on democracy but it is so called the will of the people which collapsed the nation into civil war, and has killed thousands of it's own so called constituants. However this is hardly a matter to bring up, as we see the Republic of Anagonia wishes to reign for. The matters is which Governor Justin Yankins sees fit to rule within his newly granted dominion are completely his, and should he wish to turn the sky green that is his perogative.
