they have given us a little insight on the problems they have been having with the old code, i figured there was alot of unuseable code laying in there.

they have actually, this isnt the first blog they have made about the old code. I dont find it important in any matter for them to explain to us coding 101 but they have made it clear how it was a zerg hive without an overmind to make a comparaison.

    Earth2025

I don't like to hijack threads or anything like that, but the blog does reference Earth2025 development.

Where is this so called development?

10 year old code? try earths 12-13 ear old code?

On the Alliance server we used to boasts 25 thousand players on a single server, now we struggle to keep that number above one thousand.

I dont think the game needs to be changed to much I just think it needs some marketing attention to draw some new players into the game and once again make it interesting.

We don't intend to be tyrants, nor do we intend the game design to be ruled by the mob :-P

I don't know if anyone every pointed out to you guys, but at the peak of Utopia when it had 80k+ players, That it really was 35k plus multies. While I'm not here to flame anyone for trying, I sure look forward to the day when there is no cheating in the game.

Once we have the new version up and running, we hope to keep things very fresh with more significant changes each age.
Looking forward to the next 10yrs playing UC

Many thx once again guys for your interview and update ;0)
