    Double Fanucci Revealed!

    All of your Double Fanucci info in one thread! Thanks for everyone's contributions! I sort of hijacked the Fanucci thread from earlier contributors Extremely sorry about that...I got really excited. But here's to you!

    The game is Double Fanucci. The suits are Mazes, Books, Rain, Bugs, Fromps, Inkblots, Scythes, Plungers, Faces, Time, Lamps, Hives, Ears, Zurfs, and Tops. Each suit has eleven cards with a value from Naught all the way to Infinity. The face cards are Granola, Death, Light, Snail, Beauty, Time, Grue, Lobster, and Jester.

    Brief summary by msr and edited by dardor!

    1. Never combine three or four different sets (0% relationship suits).
    2. Only combine pairs of suits from the same set (0%) or that are separated by a blue line (-50%). All other combinations are counter-productive (at best they're neutral/wasting cards, at worse they're detrimental)
    3. Never combine more than two cards from the same suit. Larger cards within a suit yield larger payoff.
    4. The highest power you can have in a slot is 100.

    Individual Card Powers (much thanks to Corian and Saphee for Infinity)!

    Naughts = 2
    Ones = 4
    Twos = 8
    Threes = 16
    Fours = 20
    Fives = 24
    Sixes = 30
    Sevens = 36
    Eights = 40
    Nines = 44
    Infinities = 50

    Joint effort by the Fanucci community here to figure out relationships!

    To make things easier for everyone I have adopted IndigoFerret's percents because it makes more sense for the tables.

    Remember, only top 2 cards from each suit contribute to a combination.

    6 Sets (0%):
    Ears, Mazes, Scythes
    Hives, Inkblots
    Plungers, Books, Zurfs
    Tops, Rain, Faces

    2 Allied Factions (-50%):
    Bugs, Time – Plungers, Books, Zurfs
    Hives, Inkblots – Bugs, Time
    Plungers, Books, Zurfs – Hives, Inkblots

    Ears, Mazes, Scythes – Tops, Rain, Faces
    Lamps, Fromps – Ears, Mazes, Scythes
    Tops, Rain, Faces – Lamps, Fromps

    3 Neutral Groups (-100%):
    Hives, Inkblots – Tops, Rain, Faces
    Ears, Mazes, Scythes – Bugs, Time
    Plungers, Books, Zurfs – Lamps, Fromps

    3 Enemy Factions (-150%):
    Bugs, Time – Tops, Rain, Faces
    Bugs, Time – Lamps, Fromps

    Double Fanucci Sets and Relationships

    Redrawn by Glex!

    Another way to interpret the relationships by uigrad!

    Code:
         Bugs\ A              D\ Ears
         Time|\                |\ Mazes
             | \               | \ Scythes
             |  \              |  \
             |   \             |   \
             |    \            |    \
             |     \           |     \
             |      \Inkblots  |      \ Tops
             |     C \Hives    |     F \ Rain
             |       /         |       /Faces
             |      /          |      /
             |     /           |     /
             |    /            |    /
             |   /             |   /
             |  /              |  /
        Zurfs| /               | /
        Books|/                |/ Lamps
      Plungers/ E             B/ Fromps

    If two sets are in the same group, they get full value.
    If two sets are in the same cycle, the smaller set is reduced by 50%.
    If two sets are in different cycles but same position,
       the smaller set adds nothing.
    If two sets are in different cycles and different positions,
       the smaller set value is halved and subtracted.
    Wonderful mathematical analysis supplied by IndigoFerret!

    Note that I am using slightly different terminology than IndigoFerret. Evidence points to 3 set and 4 set combinations (do not confuse sets with suits) being highly useless or even detrimental.

    Dominant set = set with highest base power.
    2nd tier set = set with 2nd highest base power

    If 2 sets have the same base power, just choose one to be more dominant than the other. You don't have to subtract from both sets. This only applies to 2 set combinations!

    Table as follows:
    Card Power Mod1
    where Card is the suit and number, i.e. Bugs0, Faces3, etc.
    where Power is card power from list way at the top of this post.
    where Mod1 is the relationship between this card and the dominant set.

    Levels of dominance:
    Dominant set ignores its relationship with all other sets (all Mods are 0%).

    The sets can be found at the top of this post, where it says 6 Sets.

    Examples:

    Card Power Mod1
    Rain0 2 0% 2
    Rain1 4 0% 4
    Lamps0 2 -50% 1
    2+4+1 = 7

    Card Power Mod1
    Rain0 2 0% 2
    Rain1 4 0% 4
    Bugs1 4 -150% -2
    2+4-2 = 4

    Card Power Mod1
    Rain0 2 -150% -1
    Rain1 4 -150% -2
    Bugs2 8 0% 8
    -1-2+8 = 5
    Bugs became dominant, so all the percentages change.

    Card Power Mod1
    Book1 4 0% 4
    Book2 8 0% 8
    Time0 2 -50% 1
    Time1 4 -50% 2
    4+8+1+2 = 15

    And for those that don't want to do calculations themselves:

    Congrats to Wren for finding the first ever LoZ face card: Beauty!
    Others with Beauty: Tad, Kaotikus, An|mos|ty

    Known Areas: White House

    Beauty adds 25 power to any combination you currently have. IO has confirmed that it does more! Just what does it do?

    And is this true for all other face cards? Keep them coming!
