Progress is good. That one earns my approval.
Just kill this age as soon as possible, and start a new, SHORT age.

"What the wiki needs now is some dedicated players to give it care and attention, to expand it and drive it forward in terms of content and accessibility to new players. "

Too bad most of those who'd normally be up in arms over such a thing have been chased away.

Most of those people are still in tune with the updates, so gathering willing participants for the wiki shouldn't be too much of an issue. The plausibility of an actual short age is appealing; let's hope it'll remain the case if/once it's implemented.

I've looked at the screenshots posted in the other thread and have some questions

KD Page - why are the provs right justified???? this not only looks messy but makes it more difficult to easily scan the list to find what you want. also will make it incredibly difficult for themed kd

Throne page - i see the monarch's message is there, but i don't see the time ticker... please put it back!

Enchantment Spells - why on earth do you need to break them down into 3 different categories???

Forums - CENSOR BUTTON??? are you kidding me? after all the arguments in the forums about censorship you'd actually put a Censor button in the game??? would like to know exactly what this does, does it just delete a user's post? does it make it to where that user can't post any more?

Forums - will deletions of threads/posts still be checkboxed so we don't have to delete one at a time?

You don't have to sound so negative, especially about the censor button, which I speculate to be optional and once activated will block out words of obscene nature.

On another note, where are these screenshots that you speak of?

In another thread.

They hate OMAC, so there will be serious issues getting them to help.

Thanks a lot captain obvious. They don't hate omac. They've reported dissatisfaction with the moderation, which is only partially related to omac. You, on the other hand, have a clear resentment for OMAC.

I would love to keep people from posting in threads that are only for the management (monarch, page, T/M and Attack-leaders) No need to get discussions on the wrong spots and it keeps me from deleting non needed posts all the time.

Yes i'm in a ghetto ;)

It's nice to see you make progress!

But,
1. You sure the time frame you present is realistic?
-Let's do some counting:: Invite 180 alpha-testers next week. +2-4 days to have them actually testing. You'll be at July 27th before you get any real feedback from the new testers. Then I suppose you'd want minimum 1 week to fix bugs before you can start gen on it. I don't know much about these things, but one week seems little. If the 1 week schedule is doable you'd be at ~August 4th before you start genesis. Bugs after that start will begin being reported around the 8th. And then you need two weeks to fix bugs (your own words) = 22nd. I suppose starting a new age around September 1st is doable. Problem is you haven't kept deadlines earlier, so can we expect it to be true this time?

2. When are you going to figure out changes for the age? We all know they are needed. Oh..and I suppose doing those changes to the new code would take some time. Might be a quick job, but is it? Kind of make me wonder if your time schedule is too optimistic!

Also:

We are mindful that the current WoL age was supposed to be a short age, so we are reluctant to just extend it without consultation.
lol (well: You made me laugh!)

The current age of World of Legends, "The Age of Rebirth", has been running since May 4th, and would normally be due to end at the start of August.
Are you not grown ups enough to just say it as it is?
The age was supposed to last one month. Period! It wasn't supposed to be normal lenght, so why present it as if it was? It's really annoying when you present stuff like that.

The changes made for the age was supposed to reflect a short age. Going on for months and months on changes that was supposed to be for a short age is tiring. Just restart, please.! Oh, and make some changes while you are at it. Playing the age before this once more would be better than to play this age again.

There's also a nice feature or restarting now: You have the possibility to postpone start of next age if your schedule turned out to be too optimistic (again). And that without loosing even more credibility.

I'm loving the progress and the communication with the community, even though it's long overdue.

I don't mind a censor button. We aren't dealing with mods. We're dealing with elected friends. It's a lot better than having a wall of text deleted because you badmouthed one of your kd-mates for a couple senteces or something like that.

I love the wiki guide, though it could look a little more utopian.

Nothing to complain or even worry about and believe me, I tried =]
