The Republic of United Nations {Earth V}
ADVERTISEMENT: The Republic of United Nations Background: Formed from the ashes that were the Iberian Netherlands, the nations of the formal kindgom along with a few new nations gather together to form the Republic of United Nations or RUN. Unlike, the previous UN- the new Republic had the economic and military will to ensure that it's voice would be heard in the world. Furthermore, it would use this voice to project a sense of order and peace to the world. It also, had the political will to see things to the end. A new road lay ahead, whether this road would be bumpy or smooth would be determine by not only the Republic but, by the rest of the known world. Though, the withdraw of the nation of Equatorial Guinea from the RUN has brought question to how the RUN pursues it's policies. The Republic has remained committed to it's goal of helping to bring Peace and Security to all nations on Earth. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Geography Total Area: 6,332,516.1 Sq km Andorra: 468 Sq km Argentina: 2,766,890 Sq km Aruba: 193 Sq km Bangladesh: 144,000 sq km Barbados: 431 sq km Belgium: 30,528 Sq km Christmas Island: 135 Sq km Cocos (Keeling) Islands: 14 Sq km Comoros: 2,170 Sq km Europa Island: 28 Sq km Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas): 12,173 sq km Gibraltar: 6.5 Sq km Grenada: 344 sq km Guyana: 214,970 sq km Juan de Nova Island: 4.4 Sq km Luxembourg: 2,586 Sq km Madagascar: 587,040 Sq km Martinique: 1,100 sq km Mauritius: 2,040 Sq km Mayotte: 374 Sq km Netherlands: 41,526 Sq km Netherlands Antilles: 1,013.2 Sq km Paraguay: 406,750 sq km Portugal: 92,391 Sq km Reunion: 2,517 Sq km Saint Lucia: 616 sq km Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: 389 sq km Seychelles: 455 Sq km Spain: 504,782 Sq km Sri Lanka: 65,610 Sq km Sweden: 449,964 sq km Trinidad and Tobago: 5,128 Sq km Tromelin Island: 1 Sq km Uruguay: 176,220 sq km Venezuela: 912,050 Sq km Natural Resources: Hydropower, mineral water, timber, iron ore, lead, construction materials, silica sand, carbonates, phosphate, fish/shrimp, squid, calcified seaweed, sphagnum moss, tropical fruit, guano deposits and other fertilizers, graphite, chromite, coal, bauxite, salt, quartz, tar sands, semiprecious stones, mica, natural gas, petroleum, peat, limestone, sand and gravel, copper, zinc, tin, tungsten, manganese, silver, gold, uranium, marble, clay, gypsum, copra, cinnamon trees, lignite, mercury, pyrites, magnesite, fluorspar, sepiolite, kaolin, potash, gems, asphalt, diamonds, tantalum, arsenic and feldspar. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- People Total Population: 361,388,678 The Kingdom of the Netherlands: 16,570,613 The Protectorate of Aruba (Part of the Netherlands): 100,018 The Protectorate of Netherlands Antilles (Part of the Netherlands-includes St.Martin): 256,754 The Kingdom of Belgium: 10,392,226 The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: 480,222 The United Netherlands (Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg): 27,799,833 The Kingdom of Spain: 40,448,191 The Portuguese Republic: 10,642,836 The Principality of Andorra: 71,822 The Protectorate of Gibraltar (Part of Spain): 27,967 Iberian Kingdom (Spain/Gibraltar, Portugal and Andorra): 51,190,816 Sri Lanka: 20,926,315 The Protectorate of Cocos (Keeling) Islands [Part of Sri Lanka]: 596 The Protectorate of Christmas Island [Part of Sri Lanka]: 1,402 The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka: 20,928,313 The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (includes Guyana): 26,792,623 The Protectorate of Grenada [Part of Venezuela]: 89,971 The Protectorate of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines [Part of Venezuela]: 118,149 The Protectorate of Barbados [Part of Venezuela]: 280,946 The Protectorate of Saint Lucia [Part of Venezuela]: 170,649 The Protectorate of Martinique [Part of Venezuela]: 401,000 The Republic of Gran Venezuela: 27,853,338 The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago: 1,056,608 Madagascar: 19,448,815 The Protectorate of Seychelles [Part of Madagascar]: 81,895 The Protectorate of Comoros [Part of Madagascar]: 711,417 The Protectorate of Mayotte [Part of Madagascar]: 208,783 The Protectorate of Reunion [Part of Madagascar]: 793,000 The Protectorate of Mauritius [Part of Madagascar]: 1,250,882 Europe Island [Part of Madagascar]: no indigenous inhabitants (small military garrison oversees a meteorological station) Juan de Nova Island [Part of Madagascar]: no indigenous inhabitants (small military garrison oversees a meteorological station) Tromelin Island [Part of Madagascar]: no indigenous inhabitants (small military garrison oversees a meteorological station) The Republic of Madagascar: 22,494,792 Argentine Republic (including Chilena Region #12): 40,452,753 The Protectorate of the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) [Part of Argentina]: 3,105 The Protectorate of the South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands [Part of Argentina]: no indigenous inhabitants (small military garrison oversees a biological station) Republic of Paraguay: 6,669,086 Oriental Republic of Uruguay: 3,460,607 The Argenguay Republic: 50,585,551 People's Republic of Bangladesh: 150,448,339 Kingdom of Sweden: 9,031,088 Languages: The Republic has no official language as many different languages are spoken throughout the Republic. let it be known that a nation constituting less than 5% of the worlds land area and less than 9% of the worlds population calls itslef the Republic of the United nations is very pretentious and audacious indeed.
You will still be known to us as the Dutch empire. Unofficially mind you as we do not want to re establish diplomatic relations with your vile country. |

It's good to know that the influence that was once the Iberian Netherlands is still around even after it's fall, my small misguided friend. Call us whatever you want, it's not as if any of the members of the Republic take heed anymore of what you say. As coming from such a small and insignificant country as yours. It is we, the Republic that refuse to establish diplomatic relations with your vile and puny country until such time as we see a change for the better coming from your nation. Statement was issued with the approval of all members of the Republic by acting President of the Republic, Simón Bolívar

I.C. Unofficial channels. The audacity that you call the powerhouse of southern africa "small and insignificant" is insurmountable. what constitutes small and insignificant is defined not by the size of a specific nation ( for the record we are larger( landmass) and have as much resources as yours if not more. ooc nah nah ) but is defined on a international policy context in which you have testified to your own peoples cowardice. you were cowed like a pathetic little female springbok infront of the Lions of Vineyard and South Africa and backed out of Guinea. (which has our blessing to be subsumed into the empire of vineyard by the way,) and your sheer incompetance to invade the African continet without expecting a dogpile is your own fault. The Dystiopic states of Dweladelfia amalgamated by the Iron will of a corrupt emporer inevitably collapsed under the burdens of her own contradictions and we believe your nation will follow the same path.... (ooc. yes im still f ing up my grammer. illiteracy is a problem not a disease. also I am going to be gracious and not clutter your own thread with junk, you can have the last word if you like. huff )Last edited by Persecution and Hatred; 26-11-2006 at 11:33.. |

The Republic is proud to announce the joining of two new members at this time. The Republic of Equatorial Guinea and The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It has been a long road for these nations and with their joining the Republic they bring new hope and new life into the Republic. A hope for a better world.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Kingdom of Iberia as of today, have completed the final withdraw of it's troops from both South America and the nations of Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. Though the troops are home, the Kingdom will continue to work with the nations of South America and the Philippines to bring a better world to South America. The Kingdom has also signed a defensive alliance with the nation of Gabon to repay for the damage done by the Kingdom for it's unprovoked attack. Something, the Kingdom is deeply sorry for and has apologized to the nation of Gabon and the international world for. We hope the nations of the world can forgive the Kingdom for it's mistake and allow the healing to began to allow a better world to come about. The Terms of the alliance with Gabon are as follows: Quote:

The construction of Naval Bases in the Azores on Terceira Island and Sao Miguel Island have been completed. The expansion of Lajes Air Force Base has also been completed. A small Naval Base has also been constructed on Madeira Island and a small Air Force Base on Porto Santo Island.
In the Canary Islands, a Naval Base has been built on Tenerife and Gran Canaria Islands. The existing Air Bases in the Canaries have been expanded including the adding of longer runways to handle fighters and other large jet aircraft. Two new naval bases have been built in the Caribbean. One is in Barbados and the other is in Martinique. An Air Force Base has also been constructed in Martinique. In the Netherlands Antilles, the Civilian Airfield Joao Paulo II has been converted into a Air Force Base and it's facilities expanded including a longer runway.

Good question, I was hoping I would get some replies in here. Because, I'm importing Oil from him, hence if you look I have an "I" next to him to show how much I'm importing (producing).
