Thanks for the update, looks interesting. If you'll be doing these blog posts in this way from now on, how about a separate forum section for responses? They get lost on this one easily.

Especially since it's posted both on Announcements and here, I assume that's because replies are turned off on Announcements. Would be awesome if the blog is used regularly, with responses on the forum.

Awww, both centaurs and trolls.
Add vampires, and we'll have a full roster of fail-races.

At least there's diversity.

Maybe the next post will bring more info about the game concepts and the way players will interact .

Looks like travian. It does not look like Utopia at all. I think I lost a bet to someone. Will make a bet that UC long outlasts UK.

Any chance of an 'advanced guide' version? Are there going to be personalities?

Races look good, interesting read, but seems to me like one will have to ally himself with other races from iron/wood/food when they aren't as good at getting these resources themselves. Or attempt a plunder, but the races with most storage seem the ones with the most defense as well. Wonder how orcs/centaurs (gnomes?) will work out at rushing.

Agree with using faeries and halflings instead of gnomes and dark elves. Faeries are far more unique and interesting than dark elves, and halflings are just cooler.

On a more general note, are you going to invite any feedback on any of this? Right now it looks like you aren't.
