Might be abit to late to ask now, but i will give it a try.

Once the code is up and running smooth, what roles, if any will you, Sean n Brian, if any have in Omac/Utopia?

ah noticed new blogg was up already.

One other Q: When do you guesstimate that the beta will go public?

I dont want to be that guy that brings up old questions that are hard to answer but...

Will there be changes for the restart? what might they be?

Here we go again with the "4 weeks!" / "6 weeks!" / "we got it covered, don't worry!".

With all this "progress" you're making, I'd rather delete my account now and get back when all this crap is finished. I lost over 50% of my kingdom this age. And there are only 2 or 3 friends left in my kingdom - I'm still around only for them.

ppl EOA in less then 2 weeks the next age will most likly to be a bit longer then 6 weeks

plan for the new age for like 2 month (if it will be 6 weeks you got nothing to lose)

you will gain a new code for the long run

and dont forget all the bugs that were in the first few ages of the game
so stop crying and just wait for the new code

for now just play normally

"Luth: Forums - CENSOR BUTTON??? are you kidding me? after all the arguments in the forums about censorship you’d actually put a Censor button in the game???
Don’t like it? Don’t use it. Don’t like your monarch using it? Vote for someone else. When something is censored, it shows up as such, so you know when you have Big Brother as your monarch."

About this.. I'm a little dubious over having censor posts and delete threads only.. I'm sure I read you couldn't delete posts anymore as page or monarch. This makes it quite messy for those of us who don't want to censor our kd, but like to keep discussion threads and aid requests tidy during war without having to delete the entire thread and lose the bits of information which were still useful or necessary.. am I wrong about the loss of delete posts?

I have a question, what idiots have already jacked up the wiki? 3.5 is NOT the threshhold for unfriendly, the dragon HP / relations are all wrong, I haven't even looked at anything else, the first 2 things I wanted to see apparently were added my morons... Seriously ppl, wtf. I am terrified to see what other nub info has been posted there.

That's why wiki is not a good replacement for the guide (tho the guide needs some serious brushing)

The 3rd thing I have read now is also wrong. Nobody will want to help edit the damn thing if you infect it with idiocy before we get a chance.....

EXACTLY!

I also have threads i regularly maintain and tidy up and if i have to delete and repost stuff in order to keep them cleaned, that's going to be quite annoying.

And how exactly will that censorship button work? will it delete their whole post? or allow me to make specific changes to the post or what?

Guide - having a Wiki guide imo is really bad, because anyone and their brother can go in and make changes to it... not just a select few. As DH pointed out, I see a real problem with this. It will be a guide we cannot trust (even more than the guide we have now)

Minute ticker - thank you

***

And I still don't see any schedule for ending Gen? can we get an idea there as well?

Monday August 3rd @ Midnight: Current WoL age ends.
Tuesday August 4th (Middle of day): Freeze time for new age begins.
This age will last for approx 6 weeks. End of age is targeted between Monday September 14th and Friday 18th September.
Age ending messages will start appearing tomorrow in WoL.

Who the hell voted for this? Are you retarded? Another summer age will further diminish the player base. 2 summer ages in a row, where BOTH ages got messed up by OMAC will cause even more players to go away.

And we all know that the time frame won't hold and we'll get even more annoyed.

This will cause another boring age where no one plays for real and most kds are on vacation, causing ppl to quit because they are bored and annoyed. Ppl do go on summer vacation in most of the world, it's sad to see it's not respected.

My guess is that the americans and the aussies voted early august since neither of them have real summer vacations.(aussies got "winter", big surprise. And americans are either poor or they don't get any vacation, or they just don't travel further than the next block, no offense)
Why let them ruin for the europeans?

If it wasn't for HaLL, I would definitively quit because I'm really annoyed.

All I have to say is wow. Never needed it before, don't need it now. All the decent kingdoms have good communication with their kingdoms therefore not needing it. The ones that you'll be hindering are the little ghetto kingdoms that are trying to make a go for themselves. All you'll do is alienate the newer players, which is what OMAC/Jolt seems to be so much against.

I second that Katt. I'm an OCD-Forum neat freak and I only delete the posts that are out of date or unrelated to the topic.

No point in continuing a dying game. The past 8 years have been a blast.
